Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. She is known worldwide as Lady Gaga. Her birthplace was in Manhattan, New York. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile provider Verizon. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr., a businessman and director of an Internet-based company was her father. As a child of an Catholic home, she was brought up in Manhattan's Upper East Side. She was enrolled by her parents in the Convent of the Sacred Heart - a religious, elitist and private school. The music was her love from the age of a child. She started playing the piano when she was an infant. At thirteen, she composed her first tune. The open mic night was her favorite. She was a big fan of Queen Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. Upon completion of high school she entered New York University's Tisch School of Art to study music. After high school, however and entering The Tisch School of Arts at New York University in order to study music.
